Wait, didn't Ian think Meji was dead? Oh right, he must have realised he was jumping to conclusions so he checked on her. But does that mean he triangulated her position based on their connection? Obviously data transfer goes both ways and in copious amounts, perhaps subconciously even. Count on Ian to forget to ask how she got away from Praenubilis Astu...
Next page better feature Ian remembering his manners and asking her how is she, how did she get home and why does she feel different to him now. Otherwise he remains egocentrical whiny little bitch.

There doesn't seem to be any indication that either was able to see through the connection before, and Ian didn't immediately know she was in Tsuirakushitii despite the bedroom likely having quite typical Tsuiraku style.Pillaroforder wrote:Wait, didn't Ian think Meji was dead? Seems Meji is using God-jizzle (as there was no magic light first time she was contacted), and that visual/additional information she's getting might be one-way.

He might even have been trying to reach her, but between her being teleported, inside a pocket dimension, and unconscious, this might be the first time he's been able to get a clear signal. Though I do agree - it looks like she's getting more from this than last time,so maybe this is what it will take to jumpstart her engine of mass destruction.

It's really hard to have any sympathy for the Elves, considering how intolerant they are. Much easier to have sympathy for Ian. However, GENOCIDE! is never a good-thing (tm).
But then, is it really GENOCIDE! if the race is already sterile?

Ian begins the countdown to his death, and that of the Elves, but the only way he sees he can save what is left of the half-elves.
History celebrates the battlefields whereon we meet our death, but scorns to speak of the plowed fields whereby we thrive; it knows the names of kings’ bastards but cannot tell us the origin of wheat. This is the way of human folly. --- Henry Fabre

But then, the elves have been GENOCIDE!-ing for years and nobody seemed able or willing to stop them, so... Karma's a bitch.
