Wow. Not much left of the statue. If you look at the top of the big panel you can see her foot. And next to the foot, her torso. Guess Ianilis didn't like her vagina being that big and blatant?

 That's impressive  and no mouse-over text.
Excellent artwork and presentation. The place looks like after-photos of Dresden.

Isn't Sarine technically a MILF?

There is mouseover text, it's just not working right now. I'm sending Impy a PM. It says (in the code, anyway):
Mouseover Should Have wrote:"Wow, Ian did a number on this place." 'What? Ian? No, this is what they do every time the Firehawks win the Elf Bowl.'
How could a plan this awesome possibly fail?

It's GENCOCIDE, for sure . . . hope they had an evacuation plan.
History celebrates the battlefields whereon we meet our death, but scorns to speak of the plowed fields whereby we thrive; it knows the names of kings’ bastards but cannot tell us the origin of wheat. This is the way of human folly. --- Henry Fabre

I believe that there's someone on fire right by the statues of the two guys beating each other up. And there's just loads of fire everywhere

You know, the "Ozymandias" quote is beginning to look pretty topical here.

To me, that looks way to small to be the gigantic Anilis statute Sarine was showing Jon before. Besides, it's hard for me to believe that Poe introduced it into the story, and made such a big deal about it back then, without planning a little more than just showing a piece of it blown up after the fact.

('course they could always show Sarine or one of her friends, next to a giant, broken-off stone vagina, screaming "Damn you all to Hell!" - but I don't think that would feel right...)

It looks like there is still some people down there. The one in the foreground looks like it's either: a) casting a spell; or b) on fire (that might explain the screaming). At least they have a defensible chokepoint to fall back on when it all goes south.
