the problem with the mud is that it ruins the naked. Now, oil wrestling on the other hand...

My Little Pony is among the most irritating things I know. The concept should not have made it past the drawing table but ended up doing so and thriving unnaturally long. There's something wrong (Demonic magic) afoot if you can make a concept thrive for over thirty years through witless name changing and colour changing only and even get away with making a franchise out of it.
The carebears at least had a backstory, Pokemon even more so. My Little Pony is basically capitalizing on one of the most sickening fixations little girls may have and its conception seems to involve as much thought as nose picking. It's just ew ew ew. It is so foul not even 4chan discusses it on a regular basis.

TL,DR: Putting up a hissy act at an essentially innoccuous yet freakishly ubiquitous thing amuses me.

I never wanted a pony as a child. I wanted an actual horse. Despite only minimal lessons I am a decent rider with a natural seat, and even twenty years later I still want a horse. That's my retirement wish... someday, I will have a lovely off-grid place in the mountains with fields and trails, and I shall make pottery and ride a horse (not at the same time).

Perhaps that is why I never like My Little Ponies... they missed the point.
