I love the look on Sarine's face here.
If it's any consolation, Sarine, this isn't the scene I was expecting either.

Hmmm, the fairies aren't trying to corral Meji. The question is, does Meji actually have both Senilis and Anilis in her, or was what we say last comic was what was left of Anilis dissolving into nothingness?

Is it just me, or are Meji's eyes a bit... intense?
Oh, and of course the proper response to her would be, "looks like you are!"

You.
Come on, now, is that all you can do, Sarine? Just oh? How about you go, girl? Or thumbs up, li'l sis?
So, we start the epilogue now, right? No more senseless killing?

Well, I've always said Meji is a fairly good candidate for Godhood, but there are supposed to be disasters and stuff. I guess that is in waiting though, she seems very clear right now.
It is the aftermath of battle, the quiet eve of reflection, whence those we knew are now dead and an age has passed to the new while the night is still ending.
I can feel the mild breeze.
This is a good comic.

A bit, but I'm not convinced it means anything.CptNerd wrote:Is it just me, or are Meji's eyes a bit... intense?

Yikes. I almost find that last panel more frightening than any so far. The possibilities...

Actually, my first thought was 'Yay the paedogogusi have been freed!' I thought sure that they were stuck in amber for a millennium and that seemed such a shame.davester65 wrote:Hmmm, the fairies aren't trying to corral Meji. Then came the realization that Sarine doesn't know that Ian, sort of, lost.
