They could have used magic, yes? Dues Ex... Eflima!!! *poof*...while others got stuck having to read every single thing they could find that mentioned elves in any shape or form.

You say that... as if it were... a "bad thing"...The sheer amount of porn they had to go though must have been staggering.
Sarine looks terrific in panel 2...

That's a re-ink of the original art, slightly expanded for the new panel layout.

The Elves were serious about protecting those temples, so they'd have sensors set up to know if something disturbed any of them. And when they'd investigate using travel platforms, they would have found out about the human excavations.
The books themselves though... The only thing I can come up with is if the elves showed up to investigate when humans had RETURNED to study the ruins further and some books were therefore already written about it and the researchers had brought them along for reference. Rangers discovering a book being circulated by the Veracian elite as an elven curiosity is unlikely unless one presented the book as a diplomatic gift, or if someone asked the elves about the purpose of the ruins up north they'd been researching and mentioned a book.
I can just imagine the freakin' PANIC the great houses might've gone into when they found out though. "Burn the books! Burn the humans! Burn everything! Then piss in the ashes!"

Eh, ManaGoogle seems consistent with the setting, but I think you'd still wind up with a whole lot of crap to wade through.5Cats wrote:They could have used magic, yes? Dues Ex...
