Now that Poe's brought our attention back to the book. Sarine doesn't know it but it's in the hands of Tsuiraku. They are not going to be anywhere near as cooperative as Veracia in suppressing it and they have travel platform technology, which Veracia didn't. But they don't know that Ian left it there, none of them do.

Let's hope Sarine doesn't push too hard here. She needs to remember that her main job is to get Meji, Jon and Sara out of Dodge in one (well ok,technically three ) piece(s). If she pisses off the powers that be too much, they might change their mind just to spite her.
