Paul has a point and a pair of brass balls, talking to Ian in that tone.

Hey! Anita is channeling my thoughts from the previous comic thread! Cool!
At least Anita seems to ralistically understand the Ensigurum's chances. If they're lucky, they'd only be outnumbered maybe 20-to-1.
Now I wonder if Ian will raze the village in a fit of pique...

I like Paul. It's a shame Ian is going to render him into soup stock any minute now.

Anita has summed it up correctly and Ian shows that he is not at all General material by his response. Ian also shows that he is quite willing to spend the lives of others.

Ian is very frustrated he cannot get a bigger hammer.

This is the problem with super-weapons: you start by building, and owning, them, but they end up owning you -- something that the real-world nuclear powers have only recently come to understand.
Much will depend here on whether Paul manages to get out of this alive. I'm betting against.

Actually, until they nabbed Meji, the elves were on reasonably decent terms with Tsuiraku.Ian wrote:The Elves have to have pissed-off practically everyone by now ...
