Could Meji finally be about to succeed on her final project?

'Go ahead, I'll do a Famous Last Stand!'

I wonder if this'll be a Crowning Moment of Awesome for Jon, or he'll get brushed aside as an aftertought, or worse killed as an aftertought. This is Poe we are talking about.

Jon will just stand there sternly for a moment, and, after the Elves slow down and brandish their weapons, point and say, "They went over there."

He will have done all he can, really.
History celebrates the battlefields whereon we meet our death, but scorns to speak of the plowed fields whereby we thrive; it knows the names of kings’ bastards but cannot tell us the origin of wheat. This is the way of human folly. --- Henry Fabre

I think that's the first time I've ever seen "dais" used in a conversation.

I'm guessing that time-ninja'ing while dragging someone else along, leads to that someone else being broken by the air pressure they're not used to.

Meji, Sara, and Ellis, in unision: 'What's a dais'?

Jon: -_-;

Sara still has half those cuffs on maybe they are still half working? Then against three elves that might have that reactive shielding type stuff up because they know she uses time magic Sara might be taking the better part of valor.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent but if we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death however mutable man may be able to make them our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light. Stanley Kubrick
