Poe is trying to adjust to my shiny new sleep schedule, which is basically a complete inversion of how we used to be sleeping for the last, oh, five years or so (and he kept similar hours for years before that, too). As a result, he has lost time on the comic and is now very behind. Then, we tried to have an anniversary night, but he was working on the wallpaper, so we tried again, but he was still working on the wallpaper. Then, he decided that he really needed a spiral staircase in one of the panels for the comic that was supposed to go up Monday, and that took up a lot of time trying to get it to turn out right. By then, it was today, and he finally finished inking and shading and is lettering now, so the comic will be up tomorrow.

Also, I've recently discovered Phineas and Ferb, and am doing my typical "new show" tradition of trying to watch all of it at once. It has occasionally drawn Poe in despite his best intentions. That show, while formulaic in the extreme, is still pure concentrated awesome.

He's still WRITING the chapters ahead, he's just not getting all the art done that way. I will resume shamelessly bullying him back into proper production mode this week, evidently it is something I can accomplish still, I just haven't been trying because of that whole disorder-fueled burnout thing.
