Spread Teh Word!

Because it only took Viking-Sensei three years (and the approaching end of Errant Story) to come up with a better name for "General Discussions"

Spread Teh Word!

Post by Viking-Sensei »

Found a particularly wonderful webcomic you'd like to share with the rest of the world?
Stumbled upon something incredibly good that you can't believe everyone else isn't already reading?
Or just want to whip out your RSS feeds and see who's is longer?

Share info about webcomics (not your own) that you absolutely cannot live without here.
How could a plan this awesome possibly fail?

I'm going to whore out Wonderella, and hope everyone else is already reading it. It's a fantastically funny parody of Wonder Woman, featuring such incidences as the time Wonderella thinks she's got bird flu and the several encounters with her nemesis Hitlerella.

You can find it here!

I read about thirty or forty comics regularly... I'll restrict myself to ones I think the folks around here would appreciate the most.

Freefall: A genetically engineered anthropomorphic wolf joins the crew of a felonious alien cephalopod on a half-terraformed planet populated by a few humans and lots of robots with very advanced AIs. The story moves a little slowly, but that's mostly because the writer tries to adhere to a gag-a-day format.

Gunnerkrigg Court: A clever young girl attends a highly unusual English boarding school.

Something Positive: The daily life of a cynical young man and his dysfunctional friends. (Mature themes and language, occasional nudity or graphic violence.)

Friendly Hostility: The daily life of the halfway-psychotic Maharassa family. (Mature themes and language, occasional violence)

xkcd: A self-proclaimed "webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language". Art is definitely not its strong point, but the writing is extremely clever.

http://www.flipsidecomics.com/ - Eccentric jester girl with a lesbian bodyguard who wants to be a knight in a somewhat sexist world. Sounds a little odd, but quite good, or at least I think so. Not afraid to make fun of itself.

http://directionsofdestiny.com/ - Elite "academic" school and their organizational force: A school council. Run by students, if you'd believe it. Plenty of allusions to destiny, as is predictable, given the title. Magic, an itty bitty kitty of doom, and plenty of other nifty things to go around.

Annnd... I'll have to get back to you on this one when I find more that aren't ridiculously hard to read (Messy writing on some of my regulars..)
