But see, that's the thing, isn't it? Politicians have been manipulating data and generally lying to the populace for so long about it that people automatically say "Yes, it is." without thinking anymore. It's getting ridiculous... I've got spreadsheets... spreadsheets, and pictures of people in white coats, saying "No, it isn't.", but you get a few celebrities saying it is and all the statistical data in the world isn't going to convince people that it isn't.
