The Incredibly Silly Argument Thread

Because it only took Viking-Sensei three years (and the approaching end of Errant Story) to come up with a better name for "General Discussions"

Ah. I'd like to have an argument, please.

Yes, I believe he does, and therefore your opinion is wrong and I am right and no one will ever be as right as I am right now.

Also, aborting fetuses with known ties to Il-Queso (the Taco Bell branch of Al-Qeada) in section 8 housing by using assualt rifles and unprotected sex with aethists-turned-Catholics.

If that isn't argument fodder, I don't know what is.

Hmm, I see you are correct.

In response, I say, "Yes, it is."

But see, that's the thing, isn't it? Politicians have been manipulating data and generally lying to the populace for so long about it that people automatically say "Yes, it is." without thinking anymore. It's getting ridiculous... I've got spreadsheets... spreadsheets, and pictures of people in white coats, saying "No, it isn't.", but you get a few celebrities saying it is and all the statistical data in the world isn't going to convince people that it isn't. Mindless cattle.

I disagree with your statement and posit that Will Smith and Bret Michaels are more reliable than some guy in a lab coat telling me that Cheerios can prevent cancer. After all, if you can't trust a guy who wipes his ass with medicated pads and a strung-out boozehound who's carreer is taking a nosedive, who can you trust?

The MAYO clinic? MIT? I think not.
