"I obey! I obey!"

*Clears throat of the nasty Dalek voice*

I mean Confirmed. I'll probably want to discuss a couple things before I fully-create my character.

First of all, welcome!

Impy recently put together a very nice "primer" on Errant Road that I'd recommend reading as you get started. It gives a sense of the way things are supposed to work, and points you at a number of other Forum threads that should be helpful. One very useful one is the Character Workshop, which shows what others have done to try to build characters. That's the place to float the trial balloon as to what your character might look like.

Another thing worth reading (I think) is the Errant Road stuff at the Heretic Knowledge Vault, the Errant Story wiki. Start here and branch out from there, following links, particularly in the "Category" at the bottom of the page. This isn't complete, but it does contain enough information to get you started. The "Locales" articles are probably a good place to start.

What did you have in mind?

Because old is wise, does good, and above all, kicks ass.

Hello Graybeard! Thanks for the links, I will be on them shortly. I already had the idea of a hermit-ish, slightly loony character and I showed it to people at the Character Workshop thread. It may be in need of a little pruning, I guess :) .
