Why would being good make her sparkle? The twilight vamps are very evil despite what the author claims.
Its basically the sign that any sense of sanity has gone right out the door and the author is going to be giving their vampires the same treatment as Richard Rahl from Wizard's First Rule or Drizzt the Drow of his line of D&D novels.
