Every time you question alien or monster anatomy God kills a monster girl. Now granted, he does this anyway because they're unholy abominations, but he does it slightly faster because of that.

According to my exhaustive research (about five minutes with google) snakes not only have anuses (anisii?) they are extremely elastic in nature to accomodate the fact that snakes often eat prey larger in diameter than themselves. I can see hilarious/squicky ways in which Naga can horrify/entertain others.

To be fair, nagas are a lot easier from an anatomy standpoint than centaurs; just take the contents of the abdominal cavity and spread it out through the snake part (which is more or less where it would be on a snake). If Naga can swallow a human whole, the jaw and throat structure will require some explaining, but the abdomen and lower half is fine. Naga also has to be something like 25-30' long and several hundred pounds, for balance reasons, but that's not a big deal.
