although I wasn't saying that you aren't allowed to use the term. only that the fact you used dnd term for your TTRPG group made me think it is referring for DnD because its the one that uses the term "enchantment" to mean mind control (everyone else use it to mean magical item creation... well actually dnd uses it for BOTH since the devs don't know what a thesaurus means)
if you were playing VTM for example you would probably refer to
