20071217: Panel 1, fifth part of the second speech bubble: "though the gate" should be "through the gate"
20071217: Panel 1, sixth part of the second speech bubble: "glyphs next to the gate that tracks" should be "glyphs next to the gate that track" ("to the gate" is a prepositional phrase; the glyphs are doing the tracking-- I assume Sarine would pay attention to grammatical nuances like that)
20071217: Panel 1, last part of the second speech bubble: "if a human was passing through" should be "if a human were passing through" (for some reason, the hypothetical is always plural)
20071217: Panel 2, first part of the speech bubble: "an magic pulse" should be "a magic pulse"
20071217: Panel 4, first speech bubble: "any other defensives" should be "any other defenses"

Re: That Typos Thread
I'm not so sure about that one. I've been wondering if the Elf just doesn't speak very good Veracian (or whatever language that's rendered as English in the comic), or if that was a typo. I've been reading it as thought it was broken English in a foreign accent (somewhere between German and Japanese in my head, actually). I think, if that interpretation is right, it adds something to the comic... complements Sara's broken Elven nicely.mattz1010 wrote:01-11-08

Re: That Typos Thread
I think we're going to have to wait until the elves (or at least that elf) speak more to determine how good their making of english can to be. If good is yes, then for to be a mistake it was; if no, then is to probably be on purpose.
