Image Testing Grounds
Right, so I THINK I've got the images turned on for everybody now. May I humbly suggest we use this as an image thread to test out our newfound powers?

Just remember, folks, when it comes to certain imagery,
(What, you expected the very first image to NOT be a LOLCAT?

Re: Image Testing Grounds
Since the category always claimed you should post pictures there, I put mine in the Selling Out... category.

Behold.
Is there a particular reason for the 700 pixel limit? Can we make it a little bigger?

Impy is under the belief that there are still some people using computers with Windows 3.1 and monitors set to 640x480, and we don't want them to melt at the sheer awesomeness of a 700px wide Mr. T.
Seriously, though, since all this is laid out in a dynamic non-fixed structure to allow for multiple page-widths, it gets fugly fast if you try and cram too large of an image into it. If you need to have a much bigger image, you can always thumbnail the image and use that as a link to the high-res version.

Re: Image Testing Grounds
How exactly does one post an image? I can't seem to make the buttons work.
History celebrates the battlefields whereon we meet our death, but scorns to speak of the plowed fields whereby we thrive; it knows the names of kings’ bastards but cannot tell us the origin of wheat. This is the way of human folly. --- Henry Fabre

If you click on the "Img" button, you should get a bracketed Img and /Img pair in between which you put a URL to the image you wish to display. E.g.:
Code: Select all
