Re: Errant Story Avatars
I believe there's an avatar gallery built directly into phpBB3 so when people create accounts, they can enter their own or select from a set of pre-defined avatars. (goes to look) Yup, there is, it's just off because it's empty right now. Over the weekend (after I finish an new FwF, do the scoring for December's 'Three Things' challenge, and maybe take a nap) I'll do a little graphic enhancing on these fine young candidates and see about putting them into the forum's working itself.
So, quickly, anybody else have any images they'd like avatared and feathered?

Ah thank you! It was rather odd, seeing as how everytime I tried to add an avatar, it said that is was more then 15kb. At any rate, this one will just be temporary, until I get a proper one.
That avatar gallery looks rather empty. We need some more people!

Heh. This thread caught my attention, so I pretty much joined just to slap these up here.
These three are probably a bit too big, but they're PNG's. That means they should resize nicely.
And this technically isn't an avatar, but I had the idea and just had to do it.
These are a bit rushed, but I like them.

Re: Errant Story Avatars
I used slightly larger versions of these two as my avatars on the old forums. The second is, obviously, color-inverted; I liked it better that way.
Here's a few others, made specifically for this occasion.... I got up through chapter six for these. I'll pull a bunch more from later chapters at a later date. I'm afraid the compression did unfriendly things to at least a couple of them, unfortunately. 120x120 is really small.
Edit: Removed some line breaks upon request. My bad.

Re: Errant Story Avatars
Holy moly!
Erm... is it okay to delete those line breaks in your post? Otherwise, it's a mite bit intimidating...
Oh, and it occurs to me that the wiki is probably already LOADED with avatars, since most of the character pages have amusing headshots and the like...
^-^'
Edit: Okee, I added them all. Something tells me I'm going to be going back through the mass of avatars and sorting them by character at some point in the near future, unless someone else wants to volunteer to do that and give me the code to copy/paste as needed.

Re: Errant Story Avatars
I'd like to see some non-ES avatars too. Not just EN either... there has to be a Fran, Naga or Cupid Stunt image worth avataring.
Also, to facilitate the use of these, I've increased the forums avatar file size limit up to... um... 20k, I believe, is where we're at now. You should still aim to keep them around 15k... it's just now we won't have overflow problems like that first one did.
Keep up the awesome work!
