been down with internet problems and a hernia repair (heh, I have a belly button again!), so not really participating this month. My entry was an actual event, so it does not count. Just wonderning, as items such a super glue, duct tape, nails screws, etc, are a common construction and assembling item (many things just do not get together withour them), they become common theme items. Wondering if it would be a better deal to not penalize them, but leave a flat point for them (nothing in a point matrix for originalty, unless it is specifically set in the open to make a 'victim' think or realize they have been superglued). Or, use them as a nuetral, to add to the 3 items to make it all plausible.

Also, a minor description of what the intent of the 3 items is about, in case they dont make sense to everyone (example, some items put together out her in the rockies have one meaning to folk, but say in NY, they mean absolutley nothing but they are items a person is purchasing).

So, on with it all, and Merry Christmas to you all , even if you dont want it.

After Christmas Specials!

Due to it being the holidays and all, I thought I'd throw a modifyer on this last week... from here until the contest end, we're going to have two special changes:

Stuffs On Sale
You can choose to make sets of 4 (four) items due to the incredible discounts you're finding at Jim-Mart. Four-item sets will be graded the same way as 3 set items, except on a slightly steeper scale for individual item points. Instead of being able to get a total of 5 points per item (for a total of 15) you'll only be able to get 4 points per item (for a total of 16). If you want to really clean up on the matching sets bonuses or the naughty-vs-nice modifiers, these are the ones to do it on.

Returnses
Not everything fits, you know... sometimes the best (or worst) intents miss their mark and need to be redone. You may retrieve 1 (one) already used item and use it as part of your three things set. Please be sure to state that it was a return so I don't accidentally dock you.
How could a plan this awesome possibly fail?
