Granted, a la Doom. Which, for the unenlightened, means the teleporter works by routing you through Hell itself and it's usage opens a way for demons to come through with you. Hope you've got heavy weapons!

(The obvious corruption would have been to give you the one and only working teleportation device, and requiring that it have other devices with which to connect and teleport you to. But I was feeling creative!)
