Enoch seemed puzzled to see Tim at first, and his puzzlement grew as the priest talked. When it was his turn to speak, he scratched his head and rubbed his brow first. "But I don't understand," he said. "Yona has never had any trouble with --"

He stopped in mid-sentence as the light dawned. "Oh," was all he said at first. Then: "I'll go see to Yona's safety. Thank you for your warning." He turned and headed for his house on the outskirts of the city.
