While both of these good points, it is still very much a d'aaaaaawwwww moment. Also, this is why I don't see the point of getting my license, everywhere I want to go I can either get to with public transportation (which I don't mind) or I can in some way get someone else to drive me and I CANT return the favour.
Because character development is interesting (Also, the other options are a unlikable angry emo and an annoying old mother figure).
