The "little signs" eh? Does he mean like not blinking, not breathing, no random body movements/twitches, or having an oddly resonant voice? I guess this actually makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of microscopic things like shifting around to be more comfortable that you would expect from a living creature that even someone as smart as Jordan wouldn't think of. Sure a normal person wouldn't notice but if he's seen quite a few bots in his day...

Craig's line of questioning is pretty sharp too. He's obviously smarter than he acts and if Jordan doesn't stop falling for his Gourry act she's going to get in trouble.

It could go like Jordan is eventually telling Craig the truth and he in reply tells her he knew all along.
She would be like "yeah... wait, what?". So he tells her he liked the idea of doing his arch enemy.

It would fit perfectly in his sneaky kind of cunningness. Remember the "cold fusion - scene".
Who knows how intelligent Craig really is? Lately he surely gives the impression of great competence.
