Probably a joke technique, like that one which tells you to unscrew the sword's pommel and throw it at your foe.
You know, since we know they included fake, joke techniques into real fencing manuals... maybe we are taking seriously some among these joke techniques... like, everybody is taking seriously the "murder strike", in which you grab the sword by the blade and strike your foe with the handle, but it kinda looks like a joke trick to me.
