A few thoughts of mine to add

One of the really convenient things about having god powers (and the nightmarish thing about trying to write characters with them) is that you have god powers. You can essentially do whatever you want. The long and short of it then, is that if Meiji refuses to give up her "phenomenal cosmic powers" its because she doesn't want to give them up. Literally nothing else prevents her from doing so. *Snip*
She's not really a true omnipotent god. She's just got the leftover energy of a race that asended into a 3 part gestalt of enormous power.

They were a trinity, a member of the trinity got messed up, destroyed or just disconnected from the rest of the collective and the other two couldn't maintain stability and started losing power. They tried to create another race to ascend into a gestalt to replace the missing member but couldn't do it with their remaining energy and collapsed into pools of semi-sentient energy.

My prediction are is as follows:

1. humans were the original gestalt creating race and suddenly appeared on the planet when the gesalt collasped.
2. Half elves make good hosts for the "God" energy because of that tie.
3. Half elves become errants because as a created race Elfs have a magic regen system that fixes errors. The more elf is the half elf the stronger it is.
4. The psionic waveform is a very important thing somehow.

Other thoughts:
Of the trinity races of the first gesalt. one or more of them may been something other than human.

Of course to see the truth there is only one thing to do: Wait and let this story unfold to its glorious finish.

Why would Meji want to give up on her newfound, and more complete godhood that's she's so far only used to improve the world?
Why should she?

She hasn't even begun to show hints of crazy yet.

And it's not like there aren't other half elves who could grab it and abuse it.

I figured that errants arose because the Elves were fucking their parents, and that doesn't turn out well. Especially if you keep doing it for generations.

Not sure even Meji would agree with that assessment. However, thus far she has managed to avoid unnecessarily hurting people, which is certainly a positive.

The psionic waveform is what makes "magic" possible.

We know from Ian's account of Elven mythology (and another page that I can't locate at the moment) that the problem with the Dwarves, the first real race the gods created (besides the Paedogogusi who aren't really a race), was that despite being brilliant geniuses and immortal, they couldn't use magic and couldn't reproduce.

We know from Meji's flashback into Senilis' thoughts that the problem with Organisms 016745, the first full-scale production run the collectives manufactured (besides Organisms X012575 which were just a test batch), is that they were unable to interact with the psionic waveform and that manufacturing each one individually was over-taxing, a problem which was solved with crude self-replication systems in the next run.

Incidentally, after stumbling across this old page, I wonder if the creation of Organisms runs might not have been accomplished via magically-radioactive meteor bombardment :P

Huh?
That was while her head was continously burning up and all she did was illegal enter a residence, destroy property she found intellectually aggravating (an action no doubt rooted in her past academic trauma), and manhandle and make peevish threats at a teacher who got a bit physical when trying to calm her down; and I note she maintained the composure to avoid conflict once special forces showed up. She's been orderly and rational since she worked out how to store her information. I'm guessing the future disasters are accidents, or influence on Anilis' part. Regardless she's proven to act sane to begin with, and there's no guarantee another half-elf would be better, and if it's even possible to extract the godjuice from her with her willing cooperation (Meji would be giving up on technical immortality and immense power to be possible more safe from going insane, but would be vulnerable in her short lifespan to basically everything else) where would they put it? And there's no guarantee either that governments wouldn't fight over the possession, or that Tsuiraku or whoever might steal it from them wouldn't research the godjuice for whatever good/bad/utilitarian/crazy ends.

Also, Meji referred to 'the collective knowledge of an entire race', not a god in her mind, she's been much more lucid about all of this but even Ian knew Anilis was inside his head (at least inside his dreams). If Senilis is still alive Meji would probably know and have given a hint of it by now, or we might have seen a subconcious part or something... well, ok, I interpreted the history sequence as just a memory dump (since it was so empathically clear about their pain of dying at the end (I doubt they managed to put that off for several thousand years)), though that is consistent with her later statement of information being burnt into her brain.
The Paedagogusi have basically referred to them as dead (I think they're wrong about Anilis though), the plasma was probably acting on instinct when it charged Meji.

Anyway, yeah, it will be nice to see Continuity, hopefully. : ) Maybe it'll happen at the very end of the comic (like prepping for a sequel (geeze, I hope that happens, sometime)... hehe.

Yes, I see my logic is irrefutable and has left you in awe of Meji's glory.

Considering her immense power and what Ian ended up doing I think the comparative amount of fear they're exhibiting is to Meji's credit. Also, I expected the non-aquainted elves with them to freak a bit (maybe they're behind the escort and not quite noticing her, or perhaps they understood what happened or are too shell-shocked/scared to react).
