Not wild about the new panel here (although always grateful to have new panels). Sarine looks disturbingly masculine in it -- and masculine, Sarine is not.

Lower left. It's partially the heavy eyebrows, partially the set of the jaw. The latter is just the way she'd be trying to look under the circumstances. The eyebrows, however, look incongruous. They almost look double, as though there were fine-line eyebrows that had the big bushy things added a little above them later.
Not a big problem, matter of taste, probably.

Those fine lines are the folds of skin at the edge of her eye sockets. He did the same thing here, if you look closely: http://www.errantstory.com/2002-11-06/16

Because scary little devil girls have to stick together.
Could always crop the first panel down to Sarine's shoulders and throw the speech bubble over to one side, let the flailing legs carry the sense of action. Although the impression of Sarine's eyes in the deep shadow does make for a nice focal point. Hard to call.
Personally, I wouldn't make the slightest change in that first panel. In conjunction with the last one, it reminds us that Sarine has a dark side. (Of course she does. She's an elf.)

Eyelids. For when the pot of crazy is about to boil over.
More specifically, that's a double eyelid. Single eyelids don't have that fold, very common in certain ethnic groups. There's been an upsurge recently in surgeries in Taiwan and Korea to actually create a folded eyelid from the flat single eyelid type because it can make the eyes look bigger.
Although not actually sure if Greybeard was talking about the eyelid, or if was saying they liked the lower line of the actual eyebrow but the other lines made them look too thick.
But close up drawing Sarine's eyebrows that way is the only way to indicate that she has light coloured eyebrows, much like her hair colour. Have to leave empty space, even if the picture isn't coloured, for consistency. Otherwise thinner eyebrows that don't leave any white space makes it look like her hair doesn't match.
